premium
Buy a premium if you want to play on live with other people and use it quite abit, if not go with the cheaper arcade version
If you don't wanna get RROD buy an Xbox Elite. Games I'd recommend getting would be.
Fable 2
Far Cry 2
Saints Row 2
Gears of War 2
Call of Duty: World at War

Premium it is then. If i happen to get some money for Christmas i may buy an elite but if not, ill get the premium.
Thanks everyone and ill have a look at those games. :)

What is the diffrence between elite and premium and do you have to pay so much a month for it?

Elite:
Satin Black Finish
120GB HDD
HDMI cable included
I think thats the only difference now, the main being the 120GB HDD.
Premium is your best bet unless you want to fork out a lot more for the extra HDD space
I'd go for the premium, the Xbox Elite is okay but I dont like it in black anyway. The white is much nicer and 120g just seems unnecessary to me. You got 20g with the premium and that has been plenty of space for me upto now.
I don't know if the new made premiums are still very easy to get RROD seeing as they can overheat, I'd recommend buying a fan for the back of your Xbox, Microsoft sell them and that way you don't need to buy an elite.

I got the 120gb as I download a few xbox originals, and I'm gonna be saving a hell of a lot of clips from games for montages, I'm heading towards 250 for Halo 3 atm.

Ohh, well I was just telling him from personal experience. Extreme gamers (Which I doubt he'll be for a while) will need the larger memory for as you said.. montages, xbox originals.

I have like one of the oldest (as in models) of the Xbox 360 premium and I have never suffered from overheating.
I would say go for a premium, an elite is good if you plan on downloading loads but to be honest - I struggle to use the 20GB, the main thing that is downloaded is demos and they normally get deleted after playing anyway. If you then decide you need a bigger HDD, then you can always purchase a 120GB HDD.
The new Elite/Premium are the same inside, so if one of the new premiums can overheat then so can the elite (AFAIK)
I don't see the point in a backfan, waste of money IMO.
It's not a waste of money :P Atleast your Xbox doesn't overheat, you perhaps probably only go on the Xbox a few hours a day but there are people who have less school due to college and stuff and would probably wanna play Xbox a lot more.
