Does anyone know what kind of compatibility does windows server 2003 have with general programs and games? So say Photoshop and WoW?

Not really, they're not great on 2003. I mean, I don't know how games run on Linux but you could always try that.

Windows XP x64 is build on the Server 2k3 base, never had a problem with it when I ran it, games, music, video everything worked just fine.

I've a disc burnt of that. Was going to install but my new ram didn't work in my mobo :/
Yeah - I'd leave server OS's to servers as they aren't really designed for mainstream public use. Unless you are using it in some wierd way on a server.
