New VIP Feature.

I swear months ago we where promised a new feature? I wouldn't mind unlimited edit time, it will come really handy for me then I don't need to double posting under the Microsoft section to add information that I've just done this or that etc. Post any decent features you would think would come in handy and maybe staff will look into this and hopefully consider it. ;)

I don't remember anywhere where a feature was promised (though this perception was widely held so its interesting), especially since we chose to focus on VIP+ features and we did bring out new VIP+ features.

Edit time has been beaten to death really, can we just give that one up? :P

We will probably be considering giving some of the new features from VB 4.0 (when we get a stable release) to VIP(+)'s.

Lol it's useful for people who have their own threads it's a hassle PMing a mod and waiting for them to do it when we could do it ourselves :P I'm gonna go cry. And yay good to hear :)

When the subforums was taken away we were told we'd get a replacement feature ;).

There really aren't many features you can actually add to the forum that are new and won't make the forum tacky :(

Edit time! I must have commented on this request in tons of threads for over the last year. The simple reason being it will be abused. Destroying moderator evidence, making more hardwork to re-edit posts continuenly becuase of the jokers and there are simple solutions in place for you to overcome running out of edit time.

We were actually promised one. It was from when the subforums went ages ago, but we never got it. :(

Suggest some and I'm sure the general management will consider it and then get back to you on why it's not appropriate or whatever conclusion they come to. It's all well and good saying you want more but think of some they could implement that make sense and then post them.

Err ok even if you were promised a VIP feature, we need to come up with an appropriate one...and believe me it isn't easy :eusa_wall

We wanted to create a VIP only skin but it involves a hack, and we don't even believe there's one available for our forum version.

We don't, hence "we don't EVEN believe", it just forestalls the argument WELL VIPS ARE SPECIAL TO INSTALL HACKS FOR.

Well, I shouldn't say we don't install hacks but we don't install trivial ones, big ones that are known to be extremely stable, like the arcade, we have installed.

I agree, people like skaterchu try too hard and have so many features on the forum its tacky, such as the badge system, it looks to ugly.
