Just rang up Tesco three times and each time I was told to hang up and ring back within 5 minutes. Surely they should ring me back or put me through to somebody else?

Ring them back again and if they say ring back in 5 mins, ask if they can ring you back or direct your call somewhere else. Never the less, bad service.

Yeah. I know it's late and that but they're open 24 hours a day. I only want to know whether they have a certain phone in stock. Cheers Paddy.

I love the self service checkouts it's good for embarassed middle-aged men that want to buy condoms but are too embarassed.

Lol, if they got pissed off make a complaint and get them fired. It's their job to deal with angry customers in a calm way.

Phone Customer Services - They Should Have Access to the Stock Details on there Computer. The Electrical maybe Low Staffed - and our busy serving customers! :D
I think people forget that on the other end of the line is a human being. Thats the only source of income they have and if you were fired for being to busy you'de get really angry. Its not their fault their understaffed. If they were all sitting there, not answering the phone sure, get them fired. But if they ask you to ring back just say "I'de rather you ring me back when you're free" and your problems sorted. You don't need to go and get them fired.
I would of kept ringing them until they told me.
Tesco is like £0.50 per minute aswell is it not?
You would be better driving down and sped the phone bill on your petrol :)

Lol, went earlier on since this morning on the phone they said they had one in stock, got there and the woman was like "Yeah sorry we haven't got the phone you want, there was a box in its place so I thought there was 1 in stock." :S:@
