I remember someone here once had a page, and if you refreshed it 3 times the page changed...

For example:
Refresh Page 1, 3 times, and get Page 2.

I was wondering how this was done?

You could use cookies which expire in 1 hour if not used.

So on page view, it adds 1 to the current cookie, if the number is 3+ then it will display a different page :)

Log the IP to mysql database, if the row count of rows with the ip in is 3, it changes the page. Clears all rows with that IP on the time when it changes the page.
