Ok i have given my views on rspect below. What do you guys think?

Badges used to be good, now virtually every single bloody badge it worthless.
The respect load of crap that habbo came up with is a complete load of crap, as people like say 'YOU CANT DEAL IN MY CASINO UNLESS YOU GIVE ME RESPECT.' Also people pay for it, people bribe, people use clones - I mean i think i am one of the only few that aint begging? It is a complete waste of time, as crap idea from habbo, and clearly they havent thought it out properly. Also this bar that comes up is the most annoying thing to ever have happened! I mean i cant give a damn if people have recieved respect by claimnig to give furni, then scmaming. Sorry, but this idea is a compelte and utter waste of time.

I have to agree, badges are becoming worthless and the "respect" system is being abused. People get clones etc, and it no longer matters how many you have.

I still have 0 because I'm not really fussed about it.

I have 3 and that is from dealing in casinos people saying thanks, then i tell them i hate respect LOL

Tbh imo if you want to respect someone get them a trophy, not a badge that by the end of next week, every user on habbo will have :l

I don't beg. I feel it's good because of the way I earn it, which is by doing good deeds and knowing I have done them by getting respect for it :).

Actually i think the majority of users, did not want to get a bloody badge for changing out mottos!

I know, that's so annoying because it ruins the idea of it, but still, it's good, as i've said before, for those who do it properly.

Habbo's gone down that route because they want to. Its out of your control. They'll learn it isnt the best idea and adapt it. as for the motto thing that was put in so new people can actually earn something in the hotel rather than staying 2 years and earning nowt.

Its not moaning, its giving my opinion. And many agree.

Its ridiculous, you cant earn anythnig from using a clone to get respect.

Yeah the respect is pointless, people just get there friends or like what someone said above clones to do it to thereselves. It's just a rubbish update. The more updates they do like this, the more badges are going to go downhill.

Yeah I also believe they should scrap these pointless achievements.. one of the silliest of them all is changing your clothes or changing your motto.. Who came up with that idea?

They should get all the old badges back so we can show them off but now basically everybody has the same badges which means they're worthless and theoretically, you've done nothing to gain them. Whereas with the old badges, you actually had to enter a competition or win something via Habbo to get them, then with those badges you could show them off!

Its kinda getting ridiculous now and I think that everyone should complain to Habbo UK to let them know our views because its getting beyond the joke, and i'm sure everybody here agrees with me.

Plus these 'reputation points' are completely pointless and the worst mistake that Habbo UK/Sulake could come up with because of all the scamming and people actually paying to gain respect which in my eyes is completely pointless because all you get out of it is another pointless badge which practically everybody has..

I rest my case :)

What annoys me is people complaining about it...
If you don't like it - ignore is, It's what I do.

I do agree badges have changed, But they are still good. You can see who has the good badges by clicking on them, then you can see who doesn't have good badges as they show the 'I changed my motto' badge etc.

But like the whole point in respectis earning respect. Not buying it. Badges are becoming really useless its like they are REALLY easy to get I mean. If you sign in for 5 days in a row you get a badge. WHAT THE HELL?
I think badges should have a value e.g "Purple Gutar= 5 hc" and you could trade them. Because I do need to get rid of a lot of badges and they just keep coming, I am like ;o

I'm not sure if this is necessarily true to be honest, I don't think people are obsessed as such they just scam ect to gain more rep unless given to them by a friend or someone.

I've not seen this system in action, but by the sounds of things it should use a similar system to a vB reputation system (which this forum has ;)) Older members and/or members who have been on Habbo for over a year for example, should be the only ones allowed to give respect and if these casino owners say "give me respect," you can take it away and if you're kicked, it's a lose/lose situation.

That's how I image it at least, seems pretty obvious :/

You can totally tell whose a goody-goody and some people go to the room, leave and when the newbie comes again everyday for the pass week, they get a badge for doing nothing.

When i joined in 2006 i was like, Buzzing about the christmas 2006 one, Now i get one im like "o knew badge. better than the others? nahhhh... -doesn't wear." I only like badges which have a certain rarity etc.
