Hiya, Im wondering if your dog/cat is acting really strange because of fireworks or w/e Its not even bonfire night and they are already going off! Hes acting really strange and hes barking at every little noise he hears and when he hears them bang he tries to hide anywhere he can get! Like last night there was one that went off at about 3:30 AM and he was yelping so i had to go down and see if he was ok.. Can the vets give you anything to calm them down?
Im worried :(

My dog likes them lol
I'd try keeping it with you in a large room. Works fine for me.

Mine just bark constantly at them, and it's very annoying!

Mine ends up getting scared, starts shaking and constantly sits on my lap through it or just choose's to come up stairs and sleep on me. She is a very brave dog as you can tell. :P

Mine sleep :/ Boring animals! Is it allowed to sleep in your room at night? That's one option. I think vets do prescribe a sort of relaxing drug, but I'd imagine it would cost alot...

Just give it some alcohol. That should keep them calm for a while. Sure it's no recommended but it would probably do the trick.

You should keep them in a room such as your bedroom where they can have access to food and water and can hide under the bed or something. You should give them something they like, like their favourite blanket or toy. Leave a television or radio on.
Yeah :8 We got a pets leaflet with our humangous box of Kimbolton Fireworks

Last year I had a kitten called 'Squiggle' he got killed at 10 months old by a firework. We found him on the park behind us tied to a rocket stick thing, he was absolutely gawjus aswell x

put the telly or the radio on when they're going off to lessen the sounds, don't shout at the dog under any circumstances and don't pamper the dog and cuddle it as it'll think you're scared too. you can get nerve tablets for dogs, they're about 6 quid but you get a lot in the packet.

my aunts dog actually gets so bad, he hids and shakes and idk, sorta goes a bit weird at the mouth

Put your dogs in the bathroom, in a cupboard or let them hide under your bed haha
Sometimes it likes to try chase the firework and eat it or it hides behind the sofa lolllll!
