Collectables have replaced Rares

Dunno if any of you already know but.
On the Uk office's discussion forum bucho6 posted that Collectables have replaced Rares saying no other rares will ever be released, and they wanted to know what kind of collectables we wanted released ?

I thought they said at first collectibles was seperate from rares :(

Rares are still getting 'released' in a way though. Pay Day Plus releases 'supers' but at rare prices so it's not too bad (and the supers they release is what would have been released through catalogue rares anyway)

What a stupid change :/ Technically rares are/were collectables and the current collectables seem to be a "once off" release which is what makes collectables different to rares. They seem to making pointless changes recently, I'm sure the 25 credit rares made them alot of money too...

Anyway, they only released re-colours now anyway and have practically released all the rares available which is why they've moved onto collectables because the only things left to release are re-colours.

Urgh, i hope all the collectables arnt as bad quality as this around the world comp. All the rares are classics and well designed. The around the world collection dont fit in with normal rooms and look shabby and out of place in habbo

I'm rarely on Habbo, infact I was only on once this month to copy and paste the Habboween font to convert into an "A-Z font" for a friend to use on his site as a feature and it isn't hard to get 16,000 posts in 4 years, especially when 2004 and 2005 was pretty much the years of spam for loads of members, back when discussion was very free and there was alot of interest in posting in the forums, so naturally the post count shot up more then than it does now :D

And awww, my lovers have come to protect me :D

What this has to do with collectables I don't know, but it does seem odd when the first collectables are world collectables based on places in the world and rares are technically collectables anyway, but then again so are ducks and other items of furniture...

I still think they'll have rares, they just won't call them rares.

Like someone said earlier, if they release a new furni range but they'll make one cost like 25 credits, so they are still there, but they won't be classed as rares.

This is such old news. We were told AGES ago that rares will never again be released etc. Maybe if some people paid attention, threads like this wouldn't appear.

At voiceover - Jesus, work it out. This collection is 'around the world' - and there are 6 of them, e.g. there are 4 birdbaths.
After this collection, a different one will come out, probably about 6 furni in it too.

The problem with collectables is that they are out for too long and don't really serve a purpose, they aren't like Lasers and Elephant statues where they are decorative/serve a purpose.

The problem is though, that people prefer recolours. I mean, would the majority of people be more inclined to build a Smoke Machine/Dragon Lamp casino or a Gnome/Big Ban casino?

The answer is Smoke Machine/Dragon Lamp casino because it offers more choice, and overall they look much more attractive and bright.

:/ It's not Habbo Staff's job to recolour a dragon each week... All the 140 or so V7 rares were all created in 2004/2005 and they've existed since then... They don't just recolour one when they decide too... And Sulake Staff in HQ make the rares, not office staff.
