Basically, my dvd drive's gone bust. DVD's work fine, just not reading games correctly. The console is out of warrenty, even though it got fixed not long ago :/. Is there any sites you can pay people to fix, or any guides to do it yourself. Aslong as it costs less than £65 i'm not to bothered.

Thanks

yeah, they do. but £70, when you can get a dvd drive for less and repair it yourself, or someone who knows alot about the 360.

If you take your 360 apart then it voids any repairs completely.

Should've took it to Coolspot, they'll fix it for less.

You still have a warranty after the original warranty expires. I think it works that you get one year to cover everything regarding your Xbox 360 (Controller etc.). But after the 1 year period is over, you get a extra 2 years covering RROD, however I'm unsure whether this covers the DVD Drive.

Ring them up and give it a try.

Exact same thing happend to me 2 Saturdays ago. It's bust and you'll need to send it back. You'll also need to pay to get it fixed. Depending on the price mate, i'd just go up and buy a new system, and sell you're current one on ebay or something.

my 360 is out of warranty but can still get repaired for free, not sure if thats just for RROD though.
