You do realise the strict legal requirements around running such a site?

I can code PHP but I can't code in Tables either. But then again I can if I wanted to but tables fail that much that I don't even attempt it.

Also the backend for the X10media script looks rubbish, i'm guessing it's been compiled from a tutorial as the standards on the frontend and backend are completely different.

Yeah but to do php you need a grasp of html. Therefore you should be able to do tables;

I'm not arguing cos I was being a bit picky and am in the wrong.

Like the idea of the site though, and want free mem pls ;]

html != tables

i know html, and i know how to write tables for tabular data, but i could never code a layout into tables. i wouldn't know where to start.

I'd like to point out that he was using fireworks for a layout, to be coded in tables.

Fair enough, I can't stand tables but if you can't code in divs or tables.. then why bother with PHP?

it's worth learning HTML completely before you learn a language that requires HTML for formatting etc..
