Struggling NBC (A flagship American Network) have released a schedule shake up. Almost-dead drama Life has been given a second chance by being moved from Fridays to Wednesdays to go a long with Knight Rider and Law & Order. Lipstick Jungle has been moved to Life's position on Fridays. This begins as of 5th November.
Heroes has been pulled for a 2 months hiatus and will be replaced by a reality show titled Mommas Boy. Heroes which was once a phenomenon in the ratings has been falling constantly in the Monday time slot due to increased competition from DWTS and Two and a Half Men. Heroes will be put onto hiatus from mid-December.
NBC are the first Network to do a schedule review this season.

Nope BBC will show up to where America stops most likely then stop. The hiatus is after episode 13 so the end of Villians will air before the hiatus thankfully. I personally would have hated sitting in suspence for 2 months lol.

They better not take it off BBC :O.
There's no reason for them to though is there? It's still really popular in the UK.

NBC have the rights to first airing seeing as they pay for the show to be made. That means the rest of the world has to stop at episode 13 until NBC show episode 14.

Lol, NBC are basically putting the world on hold so they can show some reality crap. Heroes is shown all over the world and has a huge fanbase, I think this new reality show will be lucky to make it to air in Canada. I wonder if NBC thought of the rest of the countries Heroes airs in when they made this decision.

For those who care here is the synopsis for Mommas Boy
Ryan Seacrest produces this NBC reality project featuring mother's in search of mates for their eligible bachelor sons.I'm sure that'll fail miserably. Whenever it was pitched the Executives where either high or the creator of this show is sleeping with them. Let's take a look at the cast.

I would say that I was annoyed, but at least when it comes back on - I should have more time to watch it!
Anywho, the peacock is struggling to stay in the race with most of its viewing figures. It must be getting really bad if they are pulling Heroes!
That "Momma's Boy" sounds bloody terrible, gah reality TV sucks :(

They're getting around 8.5 million viewers on Heroes.

It's averaging 8-9 million at the minute and that is GOOD for a Monday on NBC. Chuck is doing far worse and My Own Worst Enemy isn't great either. Heroes is up against DWTS, One Tree Hill, Two and a Half Men and Terminator so it's not an easy timeslot to be in. Once DWTS is over at the end of November Heroes should go up to 12 Million.
I hope BBC stop showing it too.

Err yeh.
you wouldnt like it if something you watched wasnt shown anymore would you? er no

I liked Heroes season 1 and 2 but now I think they are just stretching that show as much as they can. I really hope they can make it even better later this series.
Usually if I like a show, I like watching it within 2 days of it being released. With Heroes, I dont seem to care anymore.

Stupid Americans. HURR DURR this show is getting 8 million viewers per episode, lets replace it with a generic reality show.
