I need to support ie6.

It works fine in ie7 + ff + safari but in ie6 it messes up

What format are your images.

I think IE6 only supports transparent GIFs.

i think PNG too... can be wrong.

You need to set the transparency

Google something like PNGs in IE6

They're both right, it's because it's PNG and in Internet Explorer 6 it does not support alpha transparency. So you need to use a javascript hack for Internet Explorer 6 from what I heard - but this can be very resourceful in the sense of CPU etc from what I've heard.Any of the following should do it if I recall (from my personal resource)

I use iaza to make images (.png) transparent and they work fine in all browsers. I'm pretty sure they convert it to .gif but the quality isnt effected.
