I think we should have a "Congratulate new staff" Subforum, and keep this main category for just like, Updates to the site / forum.

Just an opinion.

Thoughts?

Yeah I think that's a fair suggestion. The Feedback in recent months has been overwhelmed with congratulations for promotions and new staff (And rightly so). This would sort out the Feedback forum a little more (Strictly speaking it's not that much Feedback anyway but it's most appropriate to this category). I guess it also encourages recognition for staff too, it can only be a good thing!

Congratulate them via a PM or visitor home message thing?

Idea was mainly just to clean up this forum, so we can see the ideas which may/may not benifit the forum/site.

Even better, why not make a 'discuss announcements' sub-forum?

I think discussing announcements has its place in Feedback, we may implement the subforum or just ask for below Manager/Admin level to PM them :P PC would probably be off in Congrats forum so people posted because they wanted to, not just to up post count.

It's a good idea.

This would actually clean up the Habbox Feedback forum.
The forum will only be for Feedback, and not staff congratulations.

Great idea!

People usually only do those posts for the post cont, so this forum (provided its post count didn't rise) would be quite good.

Is it gonna happen? It will only take like, a second to make.

Or just a Congratulate/Thanks sub-forum for when we get donations + to congratulate new staff.

Nice idea.

We know how long it will physically take but deciding whether to implement it or not is a much longer process. Forum updates also generally happen on sundays/mondays, with today being Tuesday I find it unlikelky ;)

Or we could just be allowed to reply to threads in the 'Announcements' section itself?

Disagree with that, Announcements forum should always stay official only.

Many forums has it that way. I really don't like that.
Announcements are for telling people updates. Then they could post about it in the feedback forum. ;)

I only read 2 posts, forgive me if this is ovasive.

"Congratulate users who became Habbox Staff" seems a bit odd to me..
prehaps something like "Awards and Acheivements"

Great Idea, I think that it would make feedback a lot more clear because congratulations are good but they aren't neccesarily feedback... And also the idea that post count would not count is good because the congrats are genuine and not just for PC :)
