I'm a self confessed Twilight geek, I've waited so long for this movie.
Comes out December 19th (UK release)

Got the first book last weekend but dont want to start reading it till schools out :P So ill start in like a month or so.

Me too. It's really sad when they do that.
I've waited so long for this movie, even if it's pants, it'll be good to see what they've done to the book.

You should read all four before the movie comes out :)

A press screening in London, managed to get hold of two tickets...Means getting on a coach at 6am to go to London, but way worth it.

it's #1 in the box office for america, and pulled in $70million and it aint even premiered in UK yet.. ;)

Yeah...So I saw it on Sunday in London...First ever screening in the UK.
The figures they gave us was that it made $35Mil on it's opening DAY, outselling HSM3 and QoS...Not bad!
As for the movie...Over all, if you excuse some of the cheese and stuff you'd expect with a low budget movie (budget was only $37mil) it was good.
They changed a lot from the book - not all good, but as I said before, overall, I liked it.

In the theatre, they put a copy of Twilight and an apple on every seat...I thought it was a nice touch :)

the premieres on the 3rd, i bet theyll get an amazing turn out in UK.

its been revealed that rob patt is getting a higher raise then anyone else in the cast, in the next film he'll get $10 million... for twilight he only got $2 mill.

I've read in a few places that both Rob and Kristen are getting $12mil. They both got $2mil for Twilight.

I possibly might get tickets to the premier...It's a slim chance, but I'm hoping to.

Yeah, I think it's going to be just like that. The book is amazing, but the movie might not be. I guess I'll wait and see..

I had never read the books, never heard about it until she told me about it.

She is a Twilight geek, she has read them all, over and over.. and constantly talked about it (the week leading up to the movie).

I found it quite boring, mainly a "chick flick".. I was totally lost in the story, it didn't really impress me coming from a standpoint of "being lost".

Harry Potter - Wizards.
Twilight - Vampires.
And the story is totally different.

The only similarity is that they're both books that were/are going to be made into movies.

But yeah.

The movie wasn't the best movie in the world, there are a lot of stuff I think they should have added from the book...And the acting in some parts was... cringe worthy. It could have been a lot worse, though. Overall I'm happy with it.

Yeah, when i was watching it seemed like it'd be pretty hard for someone to follow if they hadn't read it

The actors playing the vampires seem rather feminine too.. like "wussy" vampires.. I don't see them biting people in the kneck and sucking blood..

They're supposed to look like that.
That's the lure...They look beautiful and non threatening to humans, their prey.

That's not just Twilight vampires...That's going back to vampire legends.

Could you really see anyone falling in love with a big bulky body building vampire? :P
