In the past, this is the present, at this team there is no problem with his health, he's not going to die from skin cancer if its healed/been treated or whatever unless he gets it again..

yeah people should be able to have the freedom to do so if they wish..

and if the money was not spent in iraq the money would be spent on getting ourselves out of the economic crisis (or tax cuts, or paying off our foreign debts) which would be ALOT better.

If you even cared to read, if troops were pulled out of iraq they'd be put into afghanistan, which would mean no extra money...

People shouldn't be free to do what they want if the baby has been born, thats murder.

he wants to surge in afghanistan, that's true.

I don't see why everyone thinks that.. he's 72 for god sakes.. my grandpa is 77 and still has a garden every year, and walks 3-4 miles a day for excercise.. and is perfectly healthy after having cancer, and a triple bypass in 2001.

Just because someone is 72 doesn't mean that they can't think.

it's true. when you reach a certain age, people just keep on going.

My grandad has survived cancer twice, drives, walks, goes on loads of holidays, visits my cousins in the middle east. and he's 85.

Age isn't really a great reason to choose a president. (but i think health is). McCain isn't in TOO bad of shape right now.

I agree :P I don't think age should be.. but I don't like Obama's level of experience.. he has never led anything..

I love the way mccain always pulls the war hero ****. Half the royal family has seen action big woop... McCain is a blundering fool, all he seems to able to do is throw attacks at Obama... and there's Palin...

I prefer Obama, I've only really heard of his policies. Whenever I hear something of McCain though, it's usually attacks on Obama and as far as I am aware, that's not a policy, that's called being a child and using aggression to try and win, which never earns anyone any respect, especially when he seems a bit backwards.

I hope obama wins, every american parent tells their children that they can grow up to be president if they want to, and this hope really proove it, not matter what colour skin you are, you are all equal and can all do the same things.

It wasn't his fault she died the day before the election.. but it may gain him some extra votes nonetheless.

Tonight they will make some pretty good predictions, and let out the popular vote decision.. which can then be made to predict the electoral college votes..

But it's not over until congress counts the votes.. can't remember when that is.

In the United States, Inauguration Day is the day every four years on which that country's President is sworn in and takes office. The next Inauguration Day will occur on January 20, 2009, at which point the president-elect will take office.

I woke up this morning, obviously predicting that a new age of America would now dawn across the seas. I sat, bitterly cold, on the way to school , with the humming radio beating down my ears, the news was finally announced, and the moment I heard the word 'Obama' I knew what'd happened.

I'm not looking foward to writing my article on the US election tonight, in fact I might postpone it for a while and write something about McCain tonight - politics is like the weather, you gotta wait to like it.
