You'll have to ask your school for that information.

You could try pop.northbob.whatever or mail.northbob.whatever but they may not work. You're probably gonna have to ask your school.

Some schools might not even allow access to email from outside the school. Can you access the email account though a web browser?

What do you go to access it via internet?

If you get something that says Outlook Web Access Provided by Microsoft Exchange Server, you can configure the email account as an exchange server on your iPod Touch.
webmail.ledfordshire.gov.uk is what I use to get it off the net
Chicken, how would I do that?

Sorry couldn't edit.
For the Bedfordshire webmail (which is the same for most counties) it would be:
webmail.WHATEVER.gov.uk for POP3 and SMTP. The username is the full email address.
Give it a try
