PM Limit Idea

This might be a silly idea, not sure but here goes. I was wondering if it should be allowed that PM Limits overlapped.

E/G: If you are VIP, you get 600 Limit. However, if then you got a Habbox Job, the 300 limit you get for being staff, was added on to get 900. If you got another job, another 300 would be added e/c/t. Works for usergroups too, so if you were a bronze member, you would get 200, then if you got VIP, 600 would be added so you got 800.

Like I said, might be a bad idea because you could get people with a lot of inbox space but yeah, anyone agree?

I think job and vip, yes add together, but not for every job xD

Just the website based jobs like content, forum mods and all that, Departments like RVD, HxHD department, event orgainsers dont really need.

It's fine as it is, noone needs 600 pm space (even AGM wont get 600 pms a day? l0l) none normal staff will receive 600pms in a very short period, pm's can be deleted.

Trust me, 600 isn't enough.

One drawback with this that I can see is the amount of usergroups that would have to be created:

"Staff + VIP + bronze member"
"Staff + VIP + silver member"
"Staff + silver member"
"Mod + VIP + ruby member"
etc etc

There's be an almost infinate number (well, probably pushing 100).

Dont really see the point. Super Moderators get PM's yes but they can easily delete the old ones.

Alot of the jobs have more PM space with the perms allready. For those that need it.

I've got 1500+ PMs from about 2 months ago to now and it's not as simple as just "deleting some".

It is though, cause if someone pms you about an issue, i'd assume the issue would be resolved within 2 months, i can't see any reason why you would need pms for over a few weeks even.

That isn't enough :)
People won't get 600 in a day, but they soon build up and some people have to save most of them for future reference.

I get 200 a day :P Well a count of 200 PMs anyway, that's incuding send and recieved. I have recieved a few hundred recieved (200 or 300 I think, during the HxSS time) before :P

Erm its not doable from a technical perspective, so no sorry :(

Yeah I liked this idea but as nvrspk4 has said it isn't really possible or feasible without creating a lot more bother than it is worth. :( Thanks for the feedback though.

You'd be surprised at how many PM's some people get. :P However I don't think (in regards to PM space for a particular user group) that there is any that desperately needs more PM space.

I can understand that higher management will get as nvr said 200-300 a day, but even if you do get 600 and 600 is your limit, the time you read 600 you'll have deleted the ones you don't need?

Noone i doubt has 600 PM's that are compeltely needed and definately can't be deleted.
