Just thought i should show this site to you.
I do not think it is owned by habbox, and they have stolen our banner.

EDIT: Its not habbox, they kicked me when i said 'Why did you steal habbox's banner' :l
EDIT 2: THEY HAVE ALSO STOLEN OUR BACKGROUND.

They obviously do realise it and they've got our skin and our banner, which has Bomb-Head on it.
Unless they're copyrighted Habbox can't do anything about it though.

I know but if the skin and banner aren't copyrighted they're perfectly allowed to take it.

That isn't the way it works.
Anything made by anyone in the UK is automatically copyrighted. Obviously, the images of the Habbo and such don't count because they are Sulakes, however if there are any alts in it they can take legal action, but why would you over something this silly. Just get their host to shut them down, easy.

Only thing you can do is email their host. It's not a copyright issue as far as I am aware because Habbo technically own their images, and because the Habbox banner clearly has "Habbo" in the name and images of Habbo Hotel, Habbox have no legal right to the images. But I'd imagine official fansites can over-rule this rule.

To be honest, I kind of think this is ridiculous, they may have stolen the banner and the background but more then likely they weren't copyrighted at all. As someone said before I could easily put my copyright on it and say it was mine, however, you should email the host of their site to get them closed down, on the other hand though, you may need a translator :P (Use Google Translator)
I'm sticking with GommeInc on this issue as I don't think its a copyright issue. The owners of the site obviously knew that they were taking stuff from Habbox.com but personally I just think its a bit sad because everyones fussing over it. Its not really up to us to deal with this problem, its more managements problem (mainly Nvrspk4's)
Thats my opinion anyway :) ...

Havent read all the posts here but so far I have seen them using the background, banner and userbars of which all the current Graphics Designers have created.
They've used our rules etc too I think haha.

However the "Habbox Staff" image is copyright of Habbox so if the management feel like taking action they can now do it without the wall of "Sulake made the Habbo characters" in the way of them. We are not worrying, we just don't like to see other sites being lazy and stealing items which people have worked hard to make. I'm sorry if you haven't made something which your proud of so you would probably not know how it feels to see your work being claimed by someone else. I've seen a couple of your posts around this forum and I really don't like the way you act. That is it, thank you. I got my feelings about you off my chest in the nicest way possible.

Right so I have gotten them to remove the background and suggested one of our other backgrounds from the goodies section of Habbox.com however I cant find where this banner they are using is on our site so if anyone can find it for me :D.

Don't know about you mate but I have had enough sites closed for similar things for Habbox in the past. So don't knock it until you have attempted it, anyway as this issue is now resolved with the owner of habbox.it (who seemed more than happy to comply) and to prevent this thread from turning into what you can and can't do on the internet.
