Evening,

Just thought i'd share a problem with you all..

My girlfriend has has her laptop for around a year now and has never had an issue with it. Over the last month or so, it has been randomally freezing. I have tried a format, repair of windows (Vista ultimate) and multiple memory tests on the thing and it still does it..

Any advice? x

Are you being serious?

It freezes at totally random times, i've left it on all night and it hasn't done a thing, but the next you can click something and it freezes..

The guy is trying to be funny

He moans about his EMA when he says he dad got millions so i doubt trusting him over a motherboard

Seeing it a touch screen and small, i wouldnt be suprise if it kept freezing lol

did you have XP on it before? or just vista from the start?

Well that is non of my business,

It came built with Vista, I have also resorted to take the laptop to a shop to have it looked at, the guys there couldn't find anything wrong with it.

Don't listen to a thing he says... He lies all the time. And earthquake or w/e your name is, if you try to argue back I won't be here in this thread again.

And boxiel, I think I know which laptop you mean, pretty fancy, go and pay someone to repair it because even if it DOES get correctly diagnosed on here it will probably need specialist help.

I think it will actually be a motherboard issue. I'd get the motherboard looked at. Your girlfriend will probably need to purchase a new laptop, as the repair costs will be massive (if I am correct and it is a motherboard issue), its better off to get a new laptop.
