Hello,
If you didn't realise, companies pay money to advertise on Habbox Forum. That money then goes to improve Habbox for its users.
Also, what do you have against our company?

I never block adverts - one may take my fancy. xD

That's what I think as well. Also, its respectable to not block it as the company advertising pays a lot of money out to have that ad there.

It will show up roughly on every 5 random pages you visit. Click around the site, and look under the navigation area (where it says User CP, Blogs)

I don't think our advertisment is too flashy and distracting. In fact, I think it looks excellent with the "Retro Blue" skin. Let me know if you think it could be improved
Thanks for your comments, we value your critisism.

I'm not saying the advertisement is bad at all, I'm just saying.. some people don't like ads :P
I block the Habbox Forum logo also, just because I like a nice clean design.
I don't think it is "disrespectful" though or anything to someone for blocking their ad..

It's been down 6 times in the last month or so according to reports accross the Web Hosts forum.
It's nice to have ad space up there, trust me! Best of luck with it, but now you ad is up there, PLEASE stop spamming the forums with pointless posts.

Give me one good reason that the comapny is 'trying to copy vpsWOW', you advertise a company, so the company can sell.
Also heard of a word called 'competition', there are many meanings for the word, but for this case, its when 2 or more sites/companies compete to get very successful. So if i put a advertisement on Habbox, then you say i be 'trying to copy vpsWOW', just because they advertised first.
I wouldn't say they are number one for customer support because they reply alot, with some help, but on the other hand with no information, the only thing i really hate about Mr-Host.com is the downtime is bloody annoying. Goes down all the time, and a file on my server corrupted and they could of sent an email straightafter, but they tell me that i been suspended because my file corrupted and sent an email after the bug was fixed.

a) No one owns the right to advertise their company, if you're this then vpsWOW are copying godaddy/hostgator/etc by advertising on other sites.
b) Prove that Habbox is for all your Habbo needs? It's called a SLOGAN, do some google'n please.
Also Mr-Host is
[email protected] a msn contact as well ?

Errrmmm i don't really see a problem with them or any other organisation advertising on the forum, if you want to add it to the your ADblocker or whatever then that is initially up to you and we don't really need a thread about it really.
At the end of the day they have paid for advertising in order to promote their website, same thing as habbox did but maybe in a different way im not sure on thoes side of things.
"Want your ad here? Click here or send an email to
[email protected]" i would like to know how MR.Host is trying to copy vpsWOW, its a bit like me advertising a real estate websites doesnt mean im copying them with advertising techniques, loads of companys on the net buy advertising space these days.

a) vpsWOW don't advertise on this forum, as far as I can see. Also, read the other posts people have put.
b) Its our slogan. We haven't put anything like "Mr-Host.com was voted #1 for customer support in the year 2008 by HostingAwards", for example.

A file on your account had changed a main server file, which was stopping apache from starting. This caused the downtime yesterday. We did send the email immediately, check that your email address is correct on our system.

Live chat isn't 24/7.
When I am away from my computer I can check messages on my mobile device. If the problem requires a computer, I can boot up my laptop and sort it out. Unfortunately, I can't run the Live Chat via the mobile device.
It is online most of the time, though.

I must disagree. When we were a smaller company, we were looking to get a VPS from Tech-Hosts and after asking questions (which were relevant to the server) I was told to "stop asking questions". I can assure you that a Mr-Host.com representative wouldn't say that.
I haven't spammed a thread, just commented on it. :@ If commenting on a competitors thread is against the rules, let me know.
