I wouldnt call it mint, 1 own goal and 1 scrappy goal played off the park for most of game but still liverpool failed to kill the game so well done to spurs and i hope they do well in the future.

Bitter, bitter Liverpool fan. There are flaws with your argument - surely there's something wrong if in 80 minutes you scored 1 goal and in 10 minutes Spurs scored 2 or am I missing something.

So what? It's a hell of a lot better than they were before, plus i'm not talking about the goals they scored, jus the fact they didn't concede (sp) very many.

I think Jack.Lfc is a bit upset Liverpool just got beaten by Tottenham. I mean, I was even in disbelief, but an own goal by Carriagher shows Liverpool still have the scoring ability they need to win! Half way there anyway, just next time aim the other way. :P

Your rooftop parade comment btw, is so 7 years ago. 7 years later though, Liverpool get beaten by a team which are 18th place. Just puts a smile on your face thinking about Liverpool winning nothing this season.

I was inspired by a arsenal fan to make that comment, you make a dvd after drawing 4-4 with them, so you've just gone one better.

puts a smile on my face that everton havent won a single cup since 1995 is it? :) got this in a text the other day:

since 1995 and evertons last cup final, liverpool fc have reached 16 major cup finals. 11 of which were succesful, including 2 champions league finals, 1 uefa cup final, 3 fa cup finals, 4 league cup finals, 3 charity sheilds, 2 super cups and 1 world club championship. whilst everton have successfully avoided relagation 14 times and reached 1 carling cup semi final. and they demiss reports of being a small club.

I'll be fair and admit yeah, we've got a crap past and thats why we will get better. As Geraint said, 5th place was a pretty good achievement for us. Not every club gets into the Champions League either. Sure we got booted out in the qualifying, but how many clubs can say they've even competed under the Champions League? I wouldn't think many. We're getting better, but this season is going a bit rollercoaster-ish right now.

Heres a list of how many trophies Tottenham has won:

Football League Champions 1950-51, 1960-61
F.A.Cup Winners 1900-01, 1920-21, 1960-61, 1961-62, 1966-67, 1980-81, 1981-82, 1990-91
Football League Cup Winners 1970-71, 1972-73, 1998-99, 2007-08
European Cup-Winners Cup Winners 1962-63
UEFA Cup Winners 1971-72, 1983-84
Football League Division Two Champions 1919-20, 1949-50
Southern League Champions 1899-1900.
Western League Champions 1903-04.
London League Premier Division Champions 1902-03.
Football League South 'C' Division Champions 1939-40.
F.A.Charity Shield Winners 1920-21, 1951-52, 1961-62, 1962-63, 1967-68 (joint), 1981-82 (joint), 1991-92 (joint).
Dewar Shield Winners 1901-02, 1933-34, 1934-35.
Anglo-Italian League Cup-Winners Cup Winners 1971-72.
Norwich Charity Cup Winners 1919-20
Norwich Hospital Charity Cup Winners 1946-47, 1949-50 (joint).
Ipswich Hospital Charity Cup Winners 1951-52 (joint).
Costa Del Sol Tournament Winners 1965,1966.
Nolia Cup (Sweden) Winners 1977.
Japan Cup Winners 1979.
Sun International Challenge Trophy (Swaziland) Winners 1983.
Peace Cup (Korea) Winners 2005.

Note the absence of a Champions League trophy. Sorry to break it to you, but you got beaten by a team which was worse than you. Attack the team I support if you want, but it doesn't give you the 3 points you lost against Tottenham.

im not really botherd about losing to spurs, just the comment you made. its 1 game lost & obviously we wasnt going to go unbeaten all season. and they might be worse than us, but there better than everton imo.
