I don't presently own a Mac, but I'm looking into buying one (probably against my better judgment, I'm just fed up about how Microsoft's been handling the Vista situation). I'm just curious, is it known when Intel mobile quads are going to be available? I wouldn't buy a quad, but I assume when they come out I could nab a second-hand Intel duo off eBay:P (I think you can buy a quad chipset, but it's like $1,000 dollars. I mean, when will you be able to go to Apple.com and see a quad core iMac available).

Quad core mobile processors will be part of Intel Nehalem. The mobile processors, which are used in all Macs except the Mac Pro, are due to be shipped late next year.
Still, this is no guarantee that Apple will use these quad-core processors, although it's highly likely they will.

Haha, very funny. (+ At least get your grammar sorted.)
But yes, they will start using, almost certainly next year. It would be a bad move on Apple's part if they didn't.
