yeah, my mini moto has recently broken down in a field.
I checked why and the carb. has broken.
How much are they brand new?

Not sure, my 21mm Carb for my moped was £95.. It should be alot cheaper.

Idk, but is a Carbeuttor like the thing which makes Mopeds sound more like hairdryers, or does it help them do an extra 1 mph up hills? :P

Well it pushes it through so the petrol can be burnt at a faster rate, so I guess it sorta does doesn't it. :P

depends on the restrictor ;)
and it's probably one of those mass produced Japanese ones buy as they seem really common.

No.. A carb lets petrol flow through into the engine, hence the size of the carb the more petrol which runs through, so that means the bigger the engine the bigger carb needed..
The exhaust and jets is what usually make the moped sound like a hairdryer anyway ;]
