Okay

My PC is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slow.

Like seriously, I could pee faster than this thing goes.

Ay advice on speeding it up?

I've re-organized my desktop, cleared out my documents etc.

There are six users running on the system, all bar one (Guest) are administrators.

I've been thinging of sticking some RAM chips into my etower, and getting an external hard-drive that I can just plug in and leave as like a seccond HDD.

Getting extra RAM will help. Instead of only clearing documents, try clearing out your hard disk. CCleaner is a good program to do that. To download it, click here (http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/).

*Most* of the time clearing your HDD does nothing to the speed.
Stop some programs in taskmgr that you dont need, 2GB ram is not bad. I recommend you overclock your processor :)

Delete all programmes you dont NEED.

Wipe the hard drive, CCleaner!

get some extra RAM sticks
or clear the "crap" programmes that you never use anymore as they might take up a lot of the speed when they are not needed :)

Having a 800mhz processor will not help AT ALL. Possibly look at upgrading it.

Im not sure if this is a myth or not but always worked when i had xp and a slow comp, i used to have the theme on the really old 98 looking one seemed to make my system run a lot quicker.
