Laptop Broken [+Rep]

Yeh i dropped it on the floor, only had it a couple of weeks. It's second hand and is probably the best conditioned laptop ever to be fair.

Anyways the screen has gone that inky fuely sort of thing, and its cracked. I have checked ebay for a new screen and they are around £80 if anybody can find me one cheaper you will be rewarded.

Before you repair this laptop, you should really find out if the screen is the only problem with it, as repairs could cost a fortune depending if anything else is damaged inside the laptop,

You should take it in for a quote/estimate, and they should let you know what components you need serviced, i wouldn't just buy a screen, it could be deamed useless.

Take it to PC World, and go to 'The Tech Guys' they should tell you all the things wrong with it, they could also even order it in and fix it for you. :)

loll i dropped my acer aspire laptop aswell a few months ago. ****** up the screen (same problem threadstarter has), so i sent it off cuz i had insurance n they put a new screen in. i have such bad luck with acer laptops, cuz they're so ****.

Your best off taking it to your local service guys (preferably not PC World, but they'll do).
