Colleges usually have "x.ac.uk" email addresses? Plus it's the only real way to prove your student, without the hassle of sending documents and details through your college to Microsoft, or the people behind this offer.

I can get it, and thinking about it too for my laptop :P I already upgraded my 2003 on this PC using the 2007 Professional Upgrade, which sucks. It costs more than this :(

The same with apple. Just because im doing GCSE i cant get discount even though i use a mac all the time. But yet my mum who works for a lower school can get discount and they barley know what apple is.

I found this the other day: http://www.software4students.co.uk/

They're a Microsoft partner, and you don't need a college email.
