It's ok for your first, better than alot of people's first, needs more shading, if you know what that is, if not just ask :)

i think that main text box would look better detached from the top.

Luckily for him, he's not.
I think you should code it, even if you don't intend to sell it and the layout has a few 'glitches' it's still experience in coding.

add shadows - Where? pixel errors? - Please show me where. I never knew I had pixel errors. :D Thanks for telling me. Anyway I don't really know how to code.
On the bottom of the boxes, looks like you've re-sized them, so they look like that.
I don't have time to code it though.
