Hello,

I have some advice for teens looking for abit of extra ££!

Did you know?
You can start work from the age of 13? Most corner shops hire young people to deliver the papers on a weekly basis! Its a great way of earning up to £30 a week.

What places can I work at from the age of 15?
This may not have come across your mind but play centre's around the country hire young people to work in there cafe or even host partys for young children. Although the pay isnt great, your looking at the min. wage. Aswell as play centres you can work in a cafe. Or a salon. Quite possibly dog walking?

What shops can I work at?
Most shops hire from the age of 16+. Shops are Tesco, sainsburys and other various supermarkets hire people from this age. But due to each supermarket hiring hundreds of staff members pay may not be that great. If you like fast pace and like the rush, then why not try apply to work at mcdonalds. There website is full of great information. Mcdonalds quotes it has the best training program in the world. So why not try it out? Pay starts from £4.10+

What places can't I work at?
Places like cinema's, nightclubs, Factory's, garage's and bowling ally's don't hire people who are under the age of 18. But if your over 16 and your local bowling ally has a cafe, there should'nt be anything wrong with working in the cafe area.

Upload your CV!
You may not have thought about it but why not try uploading your CV to a CV publishing website! About 1/3 of employers use CV publishing website to hire there staff.

I will update when i have time, if anyone wants to add, please do (:
