Usually I only pre-order with Amazon when I see the text "To be delivered for the day of release" somewhere on the page. To be fair they're usually really good with pre-orders and I can't see this being any different. Got mine with Game and they've E-mailed me telling me it'll be here for the 13th. I should say yours will be the same.

Blizzard have a weird way of doing it, because no matter how many copies you buy and install, you can't use the content on live realms until blizzard activate the Northrend servers on the 13th, so they appreciate shipping early so customers can dig in to the new content as soon as it's out.

It's installing now.
Obviously like I said in my above post, i can use the game, but I can't get to Northrend yet. Or, in my case, Create my new Death Knight.

Was unsure about the new CE pet, but apparently it's tied into the CD key.

The only noticeable difference at the minute is that when you start it the first time, you get the lovely new intro :P

Installed and account upgraded... Death Knight icon's there now. I'm not looking forward to lag central tomorrow though. It might be a bit better during the day but as people get home from school and work I'm dreading it. :( Just parked myself on the zep post so I can have a little nose before going back to Outlands to level a bit there for the initial rush.

On my first bit I can free trapped NPCs who will help me and buff me for that quest area. For like 30 secs.

Seems like they're helping the lazy people play catch-up. Don't worry if you didn't get any epics in TBC, we'll just give you some imba greens to help you out. If my 73+ stuff is gonna be like that I can't wait to replace the epics I worked so hard for. :D

All cloth stuff so far has been +stam, +spir and +spell damage, they're also giving some stuff with haste in which I've not had much experience with since I never really got any further than Gruul and Maggy so I'm not sure how much I need at all.

I'll carry on with Spell Power > Hit > Crit > Haste :(

Haste it is, when the greens start to compare to my gear anyway. Some of the stuff came scarily close and I feel kind of attached to it.

Also, in terms of XP I spent about 4-5 hours solid on there last night (couldn't find anything on Ebay sorry) and that got me about 2 bars from 71.
