You may remember Paul's plan to make everyone watch this after I told him about it a few months ago. Luckily it failed and no one commited suicide.
I watched the first ten episodes yesterday, and it's pretty good. But so far I can't tell why it's so popular, because although it is good, nothing much has really amazed me. But I'm not even half way through yet, so we'll see what happens. I've seen some images from episodes I haven't seen yet and it looks like it's gonna get mad, so I hope I don't die. I'll keep you updated.
One last thing... you know what the title reminds me of? That old Pokemon Trading Card advert.

I don't remember seeing it on TV, but they used to put it at the end of the Pokemon movies on VHS.

Up to episode 16 now and I'm still alive, but I can see it getting quite confusing from here on. I've understood pretty much everything so far though. I was expecting it to be a lot more complicated. I've heard it's the last two episodes that destroy your mind, I wonder if I'll be able to watch it all today.

Episode 16 was crazy. So many question I need answered. I'm getting dragged in. It's starting to get amazing.

Oh my god, it's gotten insane. Episode 19 scared the **** out of me. Seven episodes to go, I'll watch it all today.

Just finished it and I gotta say, that was an extremely disappointing ending. The last two episodes are completely different from the rest of the series, and the animation quality really suffers at the end. I swear that half of the last episode was all recycled images we have seen before in previous episodes, and they kept switching to drawn animation. It's cool, but it doesn't really work. It's like they ran out of money for the last two episodes or something. They probably did... I think I would rather accept episode 24's ending than accept episode 25 and 26 as the actual ending. Thank god they actually made an alternate ending, because the one in the series was lame. It doesn't even have closure, it branches off to a totally different thing after episode 24 and never comes back.
Anyway... I'm still alive. I didn't contemplate suicide. The last two episodes were really boring though. Yes, they were confusing but it just goes on about complete nonsense and reaches a disappointing conclusion, so it doesn't even matter.

I'm gonna watch the alternate ending tomorrow, I hear it makes up for the series ending, so maybe I'll be able to appreciate the series as much as it deserves. Great series, disappointing ending. No, I do recommend it, because apart from the last two episodes the rest of the series is awesome. The good thing is the last two episodes don't need to be watched either, you can watch the movie instead. I watched the last two episodes because I wanted to see how it was meant to be watched. :P

Nah, not right now. I'm gonna go to bed quite early today. I haven't been to college for a while so I gotta reset myself. :8 I only went back to college last tuesday after having 2 weeks off, and I didn't go in friday or today, so I was only at college for 3 days and already I've nearly had an extra week off. I think I enjoy time off too much. :D
My dad and brother are going on holiday next friday for a week and I'm staying to look after the house and pets, so I can play whenever you want next weekend, with no disturbances. :eusa_danc

I just watched The End of Evangelion and that is some of the most ****** up **** I have ever seen. The last two episodes of the series don't destroy your mind, the alternate ending destroys your mind. My eyes have been poisoned... what the hell did I just watch... I can't believe they're actually making a trilogy of live action movies for Evangelion. If they actually show the end in live action it will probably get banned. Actually, they'll probably burn it before anyone else can see. That's if they're still alive. That was a good movie but damn, what the hell... I wish I understood. I'm so confused I've forgotten how to walk.
I thought that picture above was kind of freaky, but it's nothing compared to what I just saw.

Don't worry, I'm not suicidal. I can now see why people say it ***** up your mind though. I need to watch a comedy anime now, I need some thing opposite of Evangelion! I know just the anime to watch. :8

Nah, I had Golden Boy in mind. I've heard good things about Toradora though, never watched it myself however.

I loved Evangelion, Asuka is one of my favourite characters. The scene in the film where she takes out all the Eva's to Air For The G String. One of my favourite scenes.
I didn't think they were making a trilogy of live-action films. Is it Rebuild of Evangelion? Those are just 3 anime films.

Nah, I had Golden Boy in mind. I've heard good things about Toradora though, never watched it myself however.

Asuka really annoyed me in the anime, but she is amazing in the film. That's my favourite scene also, if only the rest of the movie was as good. I kinda got lost and didn't understand what was happening after that scene. Shinji really does go emo. He was alright in the series so I was wondering why everyone hated him. That movie really was what everyone said. A mind ****. :P I hear the director was in a state of depression while making the series/movie and that he wanted to show his depression through Shinji. Scary.
Rebuild of Evangelion is four films, and they're basically a retelling of the original series with updated animation and effects.
A trilogy of live action movies for Neon Genesis Evangelion have been in plans for a while and the production has just recently actually started to move. They hired a producer a month or two ago, and I believe thy're currently on scripting the first film. No one is sure if it's certainly going to happen though. If it does, I believe it might actually be quite good, since it's more of a homage to the series instead of just being made to make money. Plus a lot of the anime staff are working on it. I'm sure they'll use the End or Evangelion ending to end it as well. I don't know how they will bring that to live action though, the scenes in the film were quite sickening even when animated. I can't begin to imagine what they'd be like in live action.

Episode 7, episode 7 was the obligatory fanservice episode, the rest of it is really good.
