I clicked forgot password/username as im tryin to logon to a very old account of mine. put in account name and email.. And it says to check my inbox. Ive tried multiple times and still after 4 days still havent recieved the details. :S

Is this common?

This happens to me, then when i finally get it.. i click the link.. and it says link is now invalid to use for safety reasons (because its been in my inbox for more than 6 hours+) Then i have to do the whole process again. So now i make sure i dont forget my password :rolleyes:

Resetting your pass normally takes minutes. Have you checked your junkmail?

Since Autumn it has taken days for a reset to come through to hotmail emails, which is pretty crap but one of those things.

As i say in most post's relating to habbo > windows mail.

MSN Hotmail is extremely eazy to hack these days, people only have to have you on there list, where they can retrieve your IP adress and gain some crutial information needed to 'revert'.

Once you get your login details back, you should switch to an other email provider such as

*Yahoo Mail (http://ymail.com)
*Gmail (http://gmail.com)

Are two of the safest out there.

i use a yahoo mail
stuff comes through really quick

It took me just over a week to get an email through off them, i was told if you have a yahoo account you get the email within minutes.

i use that for one of me new clones and been waiting for activation email for 4 days now.

If your using Mozilla firefox to check your hotmail account, you won't find any recent emails.

Switch to IE to read them.

Thats all I can think of...
