Yes, I know it's another upload site, and there are already loads out at the moment which are very popular etc. etc. Anyway, I used to have an uploader called 'BioUpload' which was pretty poor to be honest (although it became suprisingly popular for what it was for a few days). Then it got closed due to T&C violations or whatever. Anyway, i'm making a brand new upload site, with fresh ideas and a new layout, which should be released around about December. Right now, the 'coming soon' page (pretty much a quick job) works fine in Firefox & IE, but seems to be dodgy in Chrome at the moment.

Estimated release date - December 2008.

If you have any ideas to the site, feel free to post them here. Thanks! :)

Forgot to mention a few things.

Eventually, it will be a new 'way' of uploading (won't be this year), along with a few other surpises. Things need to be different, otherwise why would people use them? But yeah, i've just started on the new layout now.

Ideas are still welcome. :P

Make a webslice for IE8 users, so people can drag there files into it and they will upload.

EDIT: and maybe an upload remote url shortcut-

javascript:document.location='http://imgupload.com/?url='+window.location;

Can't edit.

For some reason on my computer the logo is showing up as perfectly smooth, but on others it seems really rough and dodgy.

Can anyone confirm this?

Nice domain, I'll give you that ;D
Just make sure you have some nice unique features, and you'll go far :)

Its slightly pixely for me. With gif it can either be transparent or not transparent, nothing between them.

Thanks. :)

The features will come on step by step, not all in one go, so be patient.

(Oh, and there will be some goodies for original members that have stayed with it since the start. Hint hint. ;))

The edges of the logo are rough because you can't have translucent gif's (I don't think).

ImgLoad.info (http://imgload.info) seems to be an existing website :/
Not that it's any competition or anything, but it.. exists.

Yeah, I wanted like every domain with 'imgload'.

But you can't get everything! :(

Thanks!

Just a few points I should make...

Release expected around the middle/late december
I'm currently hiring staff of all kinds (designing, coding etc.)
The logo and banner should now be fixed
I am aware of the bug in Chrome and will be fixing it ASAP
Now works perfect in Firefox and IE

Made me laugh.

Whats the point in having the validation buttons when all you have is this:

Because while i'm in the process of making it, it goes along with it to see if it's still valid throughout, why else?

Yes, I can really see the humour behind that.

I say when you can claim something for a good job, why not?
If it's Valid XHTML and CSS, which is very much something to be proud of, he has the right to the Buttons, I mean why not?
