Ever notice when your mates are hiding the truth (in my case what they think about me ) in jokes. Like for an example I like to keep healthy and like I don't mean for anyone to notice at all, I'm very humble about it. If that makes sense! But like they are like If I get a cereal bar instead of a dairy milk bar or something they will be like ooh cant eat any fat can we eh and like stuff like that then say only joking. Then sometimes they don't say only joking but say it in a weird voice to make it sound like they are. I'm not shy but just not really confident, not badly shy or anything at all just not the type who would go over and start feeling one of my girl mates boobs in a flirty way like allot of my mates do haha and the girls don't mind it. But they know I'm not completely like that so they kinda take the mic out of that. Also I'm from and live in manchester but you wouldn't think so, you would think I'm from London (not a cockney accent though :P), so sometimes they kind of take the mic out of my voice. They do laugh at the end, and say only joking etc, most of the time not. They are good friends, just these things do annoy me, but I do say sometimes but I get told to take a joke. When I know it's only there opinion hidden in a joke. Also don't tell me to take a joke, because I can. But jokes are meant to be funny.
i know what you mean, like when people joke about stuff too much than it just gets annoying.
just put them in there place and they will shut up about it,

I do, but then they get stressed and start bombarding me with all crap which I can't argue back to.
I know what you mean, can be quite annoying. Just ask them what they mean after it.
find flaws to make fun of them for right back xD

God. That's all me and my mates do, we rip each other for little things like that, non of us get over sensitive about it cause we know at the end of the day were all just trying to be funny.
I don't know what kind of advice you expect, cause what you need to do is learn how to take a joke, and if you think they're not joking and it turns into nastiness, go find some new friends.

i wouldnt worry about it. if they still want you to hang out with them and otherwise you're alright with them, i'd just brush it off. they arent making fun of you for something bad. if they called you fat all the time, maybe it'd be a bit different, but you shouldn't take offense to people joking about how you take care of yourself.
by the way, i can tell you're the type of person: stop explaining yourself so much. its way unnecessary.

You're being too sensitive. If you want them to stop, take the piss out of them in a jokey way aswell.

I would just take the piss out of them without joking.
As you normally make yourself look stupid, if you joke and it aint funny.

Oh of course  silly me.
If they wanted to be rude, they'd just tell you to **** off you stupid runescape playing frigid *****. But i'm pretty sure they don't say that, and take the mick in by joking.

Yeah, I can see how you all see it. With some of my other mates we do rip each other as a joke. I know when it is a joke. Then I know when its personal. Because if i do something back they will get really annoyed and start going on about it, but when its just a funny dig and I do it back they can take it.

If you just seriously say, look, why are you acting like a ****? Let them see that it is annoying you, generally if you're in a big group of mates there's going to be 1-2 people who actually don't enjoy this sort of thing and will defend you.
It's the same with my group of friends, one guy normally get's ripped by this other guy but we don't take part and the guy making fun just feels imature in the end.
The alternate of course is to proper lay into them back, nasty insults and that, personal stuff. Doing that normally ends up in a punch in the arm for me though and I'm not big enough to fight back :P so method one is probably your best bet.

I get what you mean
In my opinion I see it as them getting to say what they really think in a casual and less harsh way.
