View Full Version : Trojan
I keep getting "attacked" as it were by a trojan, from the same IP address every time. Nortons has blocked it every time. Not knowing much about this kind of thing, is there a way I can stop it, I know nortons is doing its job but it's still really annoying.

Its blocking them so just click stop notifiying me, or attack the bugger back.
Lol like I said I have no knowledge about trojans and stuff :$
And I prefer to know when someones tryna attack me. Is there a way I can prevent him from being able to see my pc in the first place?

Get a better router with built in high level firewall? Or get a router that is supported by the tomato firmware that way you can add a null route onto that IP address, meaning no packets get past the router level.
A poor attempt to look impressive when I already stated I know nothing about this stuff. Perhaps dumb it down :P

I won't dumb down my response, google it - like you could of done with this whole question.
More expensive routers have firewalls that will block attempts at intrusions on ports which are not forwarded to your specific computer.
