Well I really want a double bed, but they're around 200 pounds. I would like it in time for christmas, and have found a single divan. I have one of those too, so if I bought it and put them together, would it make a double? I would probably have to tie the wheels on the bottom together to stop it slipping away, but yea has anyone tried this? And what were the results? Thanks :)

Yeah, i done this for a few weeks once, make sure the two beds are secure together then buy a double mattresse to put on it. Job done.

When you say you done this for a few weeks once, did you stop because it was bad quality? How effective was it? and +rep :)

Did that include the mattress? Cause usually beds at that price doesn't include one.

I only done it as i was getting a new bed after a few weeks, is was ok but i wouldn't do it if you are going to use the bed for longer then about 2 month.. if that.

You CAN get cheap doubles but tbh I paid something like £300 all in all for mine maybe even more and I love it. Friend of mine bought a cheap one and it's already broken lol, mine is beautiful ^_^
