Apparently they'll give you a free domain for clicking through 20 minuites worth of adverts which can be done without a credit card. Does it seem realistic to anyone?

http://freedomainname.freedomainsite.com/index.html

Also, say I got a domain from them for a year, then if they decide to start charging a really high price after that year so I decide to go somewhere else, will I still be able to get the same domain name elsewhere?

The domain would have to expire, then yes, you could buy elsewhere.

Oh ok.

Is the economy that bad?

Lol :P. Well I'm not 100% sure whether I'll go through with running a fansite. I'm only doing it so far because I realised I can as it's not as hard as it seemed. So I was going to try and get a free one for now and see how things go :).

If you're trying to make a fansite without paying a dime, good luck lol. I've been down that road. I got myself a free shoutcast which isn't that hard and a free domain.

Let's just say the shoutcast sucked and the domain was taken from me after a month lol.

Well, I hope you good luck and for your free domain site thing. I'd try it because the only thing you have to lose is well your time except if the offers ask you your personal info which they probably will and it will surely take you more than 20 minutes ;]

Good luck anyways,

Robald and it's a habbo fansite? Almost as bad as nirkle.net, and look at how that turned out.

I would STRONGLY advise against that domain, but I wish you all the best of luck :d

We got all of HabboMedia.net for free, didn't pay a penny, well maybe we did for the shoutcast but that like was a quid. Rest was paid in Habbo credits lol.

Doesn'tmatter now anyway... Robald.net has already been used and it's only some stupid Microsoft site that's not been touched :@.

Anyway, why not?

I wouldn't reccomend robald as it dosent seem Habboish. I would go for more InnerHabbo or InHabbo and stuff like that. Drop me a PM and i will write you a long list :) Also, if you need a hand let me know!

I know but I don't want a name with the word "Habboo" either... I guess I'm just a fan of originality :P. The only thing I need a hand with at the moment though, is how to sort iframes. I mean, how to set it so that each link on the main page just opens in the content area.

I've done it with the first link (Home) but I don't understand how you set the rest to go in the same place... :S

Btw sorry to triple post (-feels guilty) but what about robsladey.net? That was around when I started Habbo, it was even official and I always remember it is a good popular fansite.

Anyway what do you think of either: "Habbald" or "Robbo" (.net)?

(Note: it's pronounced "Rob-ald" not "Ro-bald", same applies to "Habbald") ;).
