Capello's England have made an impressive start to their World Cup qualifying campaign.

England have climbed four places to joint 10th with Portugal in the latest Fifa world rankings.
Fabio Capello's side made it four wins out of four in World Cup qualifying after victories against Kazakhstan and Belarus last month.
Scotland only played one match in October, a 0-0 draw against Norway, and drop down seven places to 33rd.
Northern Ireland and Wales both drop places after a win and defeat each, and are 42nd and 62nd respectively.
Spain stay top of the rankings in a top three that continues to be dominated by Europe.

Urgh, they need to sort out the way these lists are compiled. Some of those teams shouldn't really be there and Wales are much better than 62nd (and Northern Ireland).

It's based on a points system though, isn't it. Nobody could argue that England are on par with Portugal.

Wales and Northern Ireland are low down because theyirranking also goes by how club's from that country fare in Europe. All the Welsh clubs get knocked in the first qualifying round.

I'll be honest, England aren't that interesting and fun to watch anymore.
