HD Tv -
Pro - Good graphics, perfect for dvds/xbox 360/ps3
Con - These are only good if you watch a lot of dvds, hd sky or play on xbox/ps3 and want good graphics.
New Laptop -
Pro - Nice to upgrade from your old one
Con - If you have a perfectly good laptop, whats the point? Unless you would be allowed to get a mac/sony vaio I wouldn't bother
Wii -
Pro - They're a lot of fun, the games are fun and good way to get active
Con - They might get boring quick depends on what games you like.
Imo i'd get a wii, I have one and I love it!
Get Mario Kart for it, its awesome!

Seriously, trust me do not get a Wii.
I loved my Wii for the first month or two and had all the hardcore games but none I found intresting.
Mario Kart was rubbish, no way of communicating and friend codes are a waste.
Wii's are more aimed at the younger generation, but I can't say that I don't find them fun now and again.
And with your laptop there's no point getting another one if your buying a like spec
I'd go with a nice 26" flat screen =]

Wouldn't it still be in the same quality as a normal DVD? 576P?
You would need to buy either a HD-DVD player and some HD-DVDs or a Blu Ray player and some Blu Rays to watch full HD :)

Why do we need to know that?
I know this is not a 26" or a 22", but the LA32A550 is good. Its a samsung and looks sweet as! Full HD
