Disc repairs (pretty urgent) +rep

I'm going into town in half an hour, I've heard some stuff about how certain shops do a disc repair service, is this true?

I jolted my xbox slightly a few months ago, my COD4 disc got pretty scratched, its a exact deep engraved circle in the middle of my disc. I want to know if there are any high street shops, such as GAME or gamestation that will repair my disc for me.

Is this possible and how much will it roughly cost?

You can purchase Disc repairers from game shops for around £6 and you can repair them yourself at home. Gamestation does repair them for £2 though, good luck.

As they said, they take one layer off of the dual disc or whatever as it has a few tiny specitcal layers for £2 :)

I went but they said they can't fix a radio scratch (when the xbox gets shifted)

So i had to buy it again

My disc has a 0.4 cms wide ring - about 0.4 cms IN from the edge of the disc.

No, can only repair minor scratches.

Them round ones are caused by the Xbox falling, I doubt it can be fixed.
