Rock Band/ Guitar Hero World Tour?

Simple really, got a wii that hasn't been used in months and a ps2 that has been sitting in the loft for years.

Was thinking of trading in my ps2 plus games and getting around £30/40 off one of the games.

But what one do I choose!? Rock Band and GHWT seem to both have good reviews... but Rock Band is about £20/£30 cheaper!

However both of the song lists seem... restricting. (I barely know half of them) is there anyway I can download extra ones on the wii?

Also bare in mind that I plan to get full works with all the instruments etc.

I'd say trade in everything and get a 360.
But if you must choose, go for rockband, I like that a lot better.

You buy the instruments and the game seperately with Rock Band anyway.

You buy the Wii's extra songs in the shops, the come on another CD and you put it into your Wii and then it installed them to the HDD then onto the RB/GH disk.

360 version is november in the UK, nobodys exactly sure when the Wii version will hit the UK.

I've got both on the PS3 and if I was you I would get Rock Band. I didn't think GHWT was as fun as Rock Band. On GHWT you can buy songs from the Wii Shop Channel and for Rock Band you can buy discs with extra songs on it. Also they included some free songs already on disc for Europe and even more for the Wii. The 360 and PS3 versions are the better versions for both games so I would save for one of them consoles and buy one of the games on there.

Just found out that songs will be downloadable on RB2... I think i'll go for that!

Rb - better for drums. Gh - better for guitar. Plus on Gh you can create your own songs etc :P I'd go for guitar hero tbh. (before I get flamed, I own rockband)

my recommendation, wait for rock band 2, get the full kit - then when u get bored of them buy rock band and ghwt (just the disc) as all the instruments work with all games :)

RB2 - out on the 21st nov for 360
and you can transfer all but 4 or so songs from RB1 onto your HDD to use on RB2
for about 800 ms points or w/e

but atm i like GH:WT
