My Contribution To The Habbox VIP Crash

In a short time, Habbox will have to stop selling VIP to suit Sulake's new fansite rule. So this means that Habbox will have a lack of money and will not be able to keep up with the site fees.

I have decided that with my 18th birthday coming up in January I am going to stop playing Habbo and be on this forum a lot less than usual. I have around 15 Thrones left on Habbo UK (After betting 5 away tonight lol) which will not be of any use to me in a short while. So what I have decided to do is buy loads of months of Haboox VIP to help Habbox keep up with the site fees in the future. Bearing in mind that I have had quite a lot to drink tonight I have still managed to work this out:

15 Thrones x 65HC per = 975HC.
975HC divided by 10HC = 97.5.
So thats 97.5 x 6 month VIP membership aslong as I can do 10HC per 6 months.

All of that is probally 100% incorrect so someone else may have to do it.

Even though I am not spending any money with Habbox, I am buying loads of months of VIP which requires loads of other people to buy it directly from Habbox. After buying all these months I will probally just leave. :)

I will try to do some more maths to work out how much money in total I will of brought to Habbox:

97 x £9.00 6 month subscriptions = £873

So if those calculations are correct, I will be needing a lot of people to join my contribution to the Habbox VIP crash. :)

So err... Anyone selling VIP? :P ;)

With my money and the other money coming in, it will all add together to make Habbox last a few months longer untill it can find another way of making money. I'm doing this either way.

also, you could always hold competitions for users to win 'x' months of vip instead of using it on your account when you plan on leaving/reducing time?

Well that could be considered, but I still will be using the forum a little so having all them months would be quite good I suppose. Is my calculator telling me lies? Its saying that all the VIP would last for almost 50 years. wth!?

Oh I must of been looking at Euros. Nevertheless, I might be able to pay less hc's per each 6 months which means buying more months. ;)

Very nice of you, but I doubt there's many people out there who actually sell vip for 10hcs / have enough cash in paypal to buy the vip with. A more accurate value of 6 months vip would most likely be 15 - 20 hcs ;).

With thrones rising it will mean that I will be able to get more hc's for my 20 thrones. Then I will probally have to pay around 15hc per 6 months. If management could help me out a little (as this is helping out management a lot) It would make it much easier to buy all of the VIP. So if anyone wants to help me by buying mass VIP then please send me a PM. :)

I just saw this thread :o I have just asked if it will be possible for me to trade my remaining gold on habbo (40,000 worth) into blocks of 6 months VIP. I dont want 30 years VIP myself though lol i want to have as much as possible and then donate the 6 months blocks of vip to decent forum members :) just waiting for a reply sayin i can before i do it.

If I understand it correctly you offer to buy vip from us in return for rares? But I don't think Habbo allows us to do that. They also have rules that it is not allowed to trade rares for money I think.

I will get people to buy me VIP from habbox so the money goes to habbox paypal (I will pay them furni for VIP which happens)

Instead of habbox putting all the VIP on my account you tell me I have for example 20 X 6 months VIP and then I can choose 20 people who I would like this VIP to go to :)

This way habbox has the money and i can allocate the vip to whoever even passed the deadline :)

Also I could buy a huge amount of VIP and before the deadline for cash and then distribute it to whoever :) if i wanted to sneakily charge for that to get my money back thats between me and the purchaser :) habbox sold it before the deadline as habbo asked.

That's a incredibly generous offer and I'm sure if it worked it could keep Habbox afloat a while.

Unfortunately though this relies on people having the Paypal or SMS Money to buy the furni off you. 800 pounds is a huge number as you know and its got to come from somewhere, I doubt it can all be raised... The Habbo for HxF VIP 'Industry' must only be worth about 300 pounds a year so it certainly won't be easy. I'd buy you some VIP if you gave good offers however.

Yeah Im going to do this, I dont have very much furniture (80hc spare not being used by rooms) but you know every little helps. I dont use my furniture on habbo anymore seeing as I only go on for my habbox jobs and to talk to friends.

Ye its a lot of money, their was like the whole forum who received VIP from elkaa when he spent like £150 on vip so god knows what £800 will do. Amazing donation how ever :)

Its been suggested a lot but it still can't happen. In no way must donators get anything in return other than being named.

But seriously, we should fight this, it's the only way habbox can make money. The only reasons I have bought VIP in the past is really only for the name and the fact that I actually want to HELP the forum run. I am a moderator after all. :)
