How to make bar charts on Excel?

I've completely forgotten how to do them. Can anyone tell me how? I need to make them to represent eight questions from a questionnaire. :redface_b

type the data in coloums

highlight the date

click insert - chart

select bar chart

hey presto ur there

[if u have the new MO, click insert, graph, and i think it gives u options of wot type]

I've done that however it doesn't work.

I need to have 1-8 down the sides of it and the answers on the bottom but it doesn't work.

and as others said above you highlight the information you want to be in the graph the go to the graph wizard :)
