Fully TV

A couple of guys from Youmeo and myself have started a new project called Fully TV. The aim of it is to start a web based TV station which provides content for the geek inside us all. With shows based around themes such as discussion, reviews, news and user generated content.

I decided to set up a Tumblr account until we have developed a fully functional site for the project - found here www.fully.tv (http://www.fully.tv/). The layout of it is based around out logo which features a "MacBook-like" laptop which is supporting a TV ariel. For this layout we've removed it from the logo and used it for the content area. Not all the team have joined the group yet so it's only me to shows in the Team area. The video that is posted is a Pilot of Likeables which will do a general round up of new things on Youmeo as well as charting most liked things. Branded "Pilot" due to the fact we recorded it on a laptop webcam and mic just to see if it was worth investing in equipment :P

We'd also like to hear people's ideas for possible shows and if anyone is up to creating content for the channel (high quality) then give me a shout :)

Sounds good, I'm guessing at the moment its a "revision 3" sorta platform - really does sound good. Just make sure you do get some content that people would want to watch regularly - remembering the fact that most people who watch internet TV prefer tech based shows etc.

Its up to you but if you fancy adding me again on MSN I know my ways around flash media servers so you can also do live broadcasts, although I'm still experimenting with it. That applies to anyone else interested aswel. The floor is you need a hefty upload to send a decent quality stream to the relay server(s).

Also a couple of people have said the video doesn't work but it does for me so can't work it out. Let me repaste the code again and see if it makes a difference.

SocialSigr is Caleb and Matt's site, it has nothing to do with YouMeO other than the fact YMO is one of their services.

Youmeo is a company, has been since day one. Also most outside projects are my personal ones that guys from Youmeo have been interested in or that I think they have something to give to the project so they join it too.

All in all we have 5 other projects being worked on, Fully.TV, Klydo, Wicture and Volu.me. 5th is being kept under wraps until we have everything sorted out for it.

Also SocialSigr isn't owned, created or worked on by Youmeo it's Caleb and Matt's project. The only thing we have to do with them is the fact you can make a Youmeo signature on their site :P

User generated content will be videos or clips we feature from places such as YouTube, Youmeo, Vimeo and so on which take our fancy. We will also be asking people from different places who can't make it to studios and have enough experience and equipment to make their own "make-shift" TV shows for the channel to get a bit of a spread in terms of presentation type.

I think the kerning between some of your letters is wrong. Like between the f the u and the l and the y is different to the u and the two ll's. It looks odd. Also I don't think you need that background in there and perhaps work on the macbook a bit, or is that a wip?

Sadly not, as it's a constant side project until we can build up a separate team to work on that site. Due to the fact there won't be enough cash to pay for wages everything will have to be done based on trust and willingness to push the project until they can get themselves a healthy pay check. We have one or two people who are dying to start working on it and we're looking forward to having them. Once we have a few more with the needed abilities then we can get cracking.
