Hello,

SMStoPayPal (http://smstopaypal.com/) offers a service where you can exchange your phone credit for PayPal funds. Of course, there are rates, however, we give you the best rates we can possibly give and as premium SMS rates go, we believe they are very fair, especially as you get the funds as PayPal cash that you can spend on almost any online stores - including HabboxForum!

Here are the rates:

£3.50 >> £2.00

£6.25 >> £4.00

£9.25 >> £6.00

£11.25 >> £8.00

£14.25 >> £10.00

You can withdraw funds from your SMStoPayPal account to your PayPal account from a minimum of £2 credit in your SMStoPayPal account (that's the minimum you can add).

I understand some of you may not like these, but these are the best rates we can offer and it offers you a service that doesn't exist anywhere else.

Before you try and say PayPal already do this, my answer is no they don't. They offer a service where you can manage your PayPal account on your mobile phone, but you can't add funds to your paypal account from your mobile credit. So you could send funds from a credit card on your PayPal account, but not from your mobile phone credit.

I originally started this website due to the ongoing requests I had for a service like this, people would ask me because they knew Tech-Hosts accepted SMS and wanted to pay via SMS and have money given to them on PayPal. So now, it's reality, and I have strong hopes that it will be a big success.

At the current time, I do believe it is the only website/service of it's type. I also think that any new companies who try and compete with it will find it hard, if not impossible, to be able to offer more competitive rates.

We were open for about a day a while ago but found that people disliked the fact that we were using WHMCS, so we have coded a whole new system to make it easier for you to use.

If you have any questions, send in a support ticket or submit a contact form entry on the website - or just PM me/post below. :)

Thanks.

I think it's a brilliant prospect, I've Stumbled and Digg'ed it for you :)

The fees seem a little over sometimes, but I get the idea of how much it would incur on your end.

Best of luck Guy!

The mobile networks take up most of the fees, then the mobile payments company, then us (in order of percentage of the fees taken off).

Clearly, we are not trying to rip you off. We give the best rates we possibly can. :)

Thanks. We've had talks with the SMS payments company and we both think it's going to be big.

I love it in all fairness and I think it'd be of great benefit for those looking to buy web services from companies who accept PayPal but not SMS.

I'd make the underlined bit even clearer and more prominent on your site, otherwise it does look like you're taking massive profit margins :P

Edit: You should take this to Dragon's Den btw, rofl!

I have now put it on the home, about, and add funds page. Thank you for the suggestion.

@ Dragon's Den bit: I don't need more money ;) I'm happy keeping all the profits to myself :)

Maximum 24 hours, usually very shortly after pressing the withdraw to paypal button.

We specify that on the pages and in the terms of service, there's nothing we can do about that. The best thing to do is withdraw funds when you have more than just £2 (but we don't restrict you), as the percentage of fees taken by PayPal is less.

Do you have permission from PayPal?
He said to me that he hasnt even contacted them as they would say no.
But he belives that there isnt anything in the T&C's and is perfectly legal at the moement.
Also that he has spoke to a business advisor on a sunday about it.
