when you sign up for this offer you get choices on which offer you would like, these vary a little, so i suggest you e-mail o2 and ask them to give you instructions on how to change this or possibly see about just getting a new sim card, i am selling them but only 2 real life people i know. friends already got free :P

T MOBILE when you get new sin card on your first top up you get 1000 free txt GREAT ! :o
I'm with orange.
It's very good as if you top up your phone with fifteen pounds, you get free text messaging after 7pm everynight. And all free texts in the weekend! :o So it's great when i'm out and i need to get in touch with someone or whatever. :)

I have a Nokia 6230i on Orange Pay Monthly (contract)
Contract is more expensive in the long run, but you get good offers. For example, my uncle's phone is £50 a month, but he gets £55-worth free minutes and texts a month, but if you don't call or text much, then get a PAYG. on contract, if you don't use them, they do not continue into the next month. you have to use them in the specific month and they start again from the next month.
