To reduce loading times, I played GOW2 and there were no loading screens over the few levels I played, it was seamless.

The disk is there to make sure you own the game etc..

As people would just rent and borrow games off each other, install them, get rid of them.
No companies would be making money or anything, you'd be getting games for free, think please :)

Same, my earphones block out most of the noise, however when i DO take them off, its pretty extreme :eusa_wall

I like the fact theres no loading screens when it is installed personally but ya know... I guess disk noise is a big factor? ;)

Shame it can't get rid of the rediculous amount of "cut scenes" in CoD5 that stop you from just playing the game the second you load the mission

It doesn't make noise and the game will load a certain amount of seconds faster.

Stops disk from scratching?
Loading times so much faster?
Stops your disk drive from getting worn out?
Stops your Xbox overheating with a disk spinning in it for hours on end?

Lots of good reasons to install games, if your not cheap, and have a 120 gig hdd.

How is not having a 120gb HDD cheap? :S
People might not have bought an xbox when the elite was out?

But yeah, I don't know if I'll be doing this aha.
