Seriously why make a social networking site? You will never be able to succeed in this market.
It's a free script with a logo change, why did it even take you an hour?
Kyle!

There you go, its up, it wasn't a free script, and why can't you just be nice for a change Awfy? Sorry for bad launch :(.
The blandest looking website i've seen in a long long time.

just like facebook I think looks like an epic fail. Sorry.
No problem, that was honestly what I thought. Maybe you could take my comment as constructive critism, maybe add some colour to the site? If you look at other social networking sites you'll notice that all the boxes on the page dont have the same headers and things like that, just make the page have different things, rather than being repetitive. It does look okay though, it all depends on your marketing really and more and more features:) Just improve on the design I think.

Cheers Joe...
Ah, I don't think you'll get anywhere at all.
However, good luck.. You won't really become a successful social networking website, but just invite friends and family to use it, like I did with mine and it's spreading around my town slowly ^_^

Your site is extremely "clinicle" if you get what I mean? i.e. Too much white and NO colours.
You won't succeed, you haven't got a huge new idea, people are happy with FaceBook, Bebo and MySpace, and also, you don't have umpteen amounts of money to spend on whatever.
Yeah this is a failure.
It's obviously a premade script as nothing is that planned anymore unless it is based on a premade script. Also if you had coded it yourself you must of been up for days on end since you first announced you were making a social network as to get to that amount of features and coding would have taken you a couple of weeks.
The design is boring and bland - all you've done is replaced the logo with an even worse one that is just Angie's New House with some Photoshop Effects and bad ones at that.
The name is god right awful as I keep typing in iBlabble as it's too close to an actual word.
Yeah give up now or restart.

It looks like a free script, some pages aren't complete and it's lacking originality.
It will attract people from the fourms ect.. but will probably not go any further.

I've saw that script before and it looks the same, I don't like it.

MySpace wasn't a premade script.

No one said that to Tom :|
Tom had a full business plan and development arrangement, so why would anyone say it wasn't going to be big? :S

Please just give up, now.
General social networking is one of the hardest markets to enter right now. Since you have a pre made script that hasn't been edited at all. Infact I saw that script on another 'scoail networking' site another user set up. All you've done is uploaded a script you bought, do you have any knowledge of PHP? If not then I don't even know why you started this project.
The whole point of making sites is for the experience and to learn. All you've learned is how to upload a script and set up a database (if you even did that). Real web developers have a passion for websites, you obviously don't.

Hmm...everything you said was true however it didnt have that real "agression" to have the /rant on the end, nice try though :P
As for iBabble, please change into a general discussion forum or something, social networking isnt gonna work :P

The homepage of a website is a first impression. If a user sees your homepage he/she is going to get a bad first impressions, therefore is going to leave. Why wouldn't you revamp it before it opened?
Please think before you do something, because right now this site is a waste of money. However it's your money so I don't really care. Honestly you need to get out of the 'OMGz i wanna cre8 a social netw0rk' phase, as you won't get far.

Taking what you just said into consideration, what is the most important part of a website to attract visitors, and why wait until next year to do something which can get you a load more viewers, and make it seem less of a waste of £160, hosting costs and other expenses?

Invalid point, if you knew what's happening to the social networking world you'd realise now is the best time ever to get into the market. The only social network I can see as being safe for the next few years is MySpace as they're pretty sorted finacially with the backing of News Corp, possibly Bebo also with AOL. However Facebook doesn't really have any backing and uses unbelievable amounts of money every month let alone every year.

Facebook could get $8billion, if sold and often gets investments in the millions. Even if it doesn't belong to a huge company, it's a good site which companies would queue up to buy if the opportunity arose.

No, it's not. One of the CFOs recently went to Dubai to raise investment. Why? As they're not financially sound
Seriously when you're not in the industry don't try and make up facts. Facebook is struggling to get enough funding to support it over the next year, that's why it has management flying to all parts of the globe trying to sweat talk some extremely rich potential investors. Facebook isn't even close to being finicially secure nor could it be sold as no one is willing to purchase it for $8 billion when they will never see that money again.
Once again, when you're not in the industry you don't even see the half of what goes on. Wait till you have a job in social networking and your whole aspects when using social networks will change, it's not a plain sailing as you might think. Most of the major players are still running on investment for the majority of the time. Such as Facebook, Twitter and Digg.

Ok Calon, may i ask what "Nivade" means?
Nivade is pronounced niv-aid and first started off as a hosting company, but I wanted to try an SN as I liked the name and didn't really want to own a hosting company neeither did the other owner at the time, then he gave me the domain.

Everyone cut him some slack, he probably is just doing the website for something to do in his spare time, if you don't like the website then you don't sign up to the website. Simple.
