What car, saxo or 106?

Right heres the deal guys, been looking at the MK1 106 and MK1 saxo, roughly the same price.

I know the 106 sunroofs leak, back in the day my mum had one and it was a pain, so im not getting a sunroof one :P

So heres the decision, which of these would you think looks better?

At to mo, im thinking the 106 would be alot better and also cheaper for the whole kit for it. Anyone had any experiences with either of these cars?

id go for the 106, ther quite nippy and i reckon they look better... plus iv been in 2 crashes in saxos so i guess im a bit angry with them... even if it was the drivers fault both times :P

106. I just prefer Pergeot to Citroen and i think the 106 looks slightly better.

Thanks guys, think I will go fro the 106, insurance will hopefully be cheaper than the saxo too. As for the pimping all im doing is that body kit as its quite discreet and at only £370 off pound why not :P Then im getting sum nice audio in there and replacing the headlights from the stock ones to lexus :)

don't kill it by putting some overpriced fiberglass bodykit on it, all you really need to do to a saxo to make it look nice is keep the vtr wheels on, slam it and if you wanted to smooth it.

I've driven a saxo and they are surprisingly nice.

I wasnt aiming for it to be head turning really, just abit different. All the other kits cost more and just have a pile of mesh all over them which I think looks really tacky :P

let me tell you if you get fiberglass kits they're terrible, if someone taps your car they are really prone to cracking.

Yeaaah, thats a bad point about them, but still look pretty good :) not sure about getting it lowered yet, might do later on though :)

seriously though, i got an r32 front bumper rep for my old car, i got one in abs for £160 but I could have got a fiberglass one for about £70, people have hit speedbumps and it's just killed the bumper.

light tinting is easy, if your handy with a spray gun go out and get tinting paint but if not it's relatively cheap to do by someone that's in the know.. I'm going for all red lights. stay away from lexus lights! they only look good on a lexus.

tint film is good if you do it right but you can easily get air bubbles etc so you will need lots of paitence and be aware that if you mess it up it will look a bit jimmy white if you know what i mean.

Ahh right, thats for the tips :) might get halfords to do the window tints for me becuase my mums worked there for years and the staff are tidy :D
