Recommend a USB headset?

Hai,
I've been asked by various (distant) relatives for inexpensive things for Christmas.
I need a good quality USB headset for Skype etc.
Not over £30 and has to be adjustable headband (I have a big head :().
+Reps to any recommendations which get posted :)

Might'nt be able to find them for less than £30 tho.Just what the hell lol, that's absolutely mad, for gaming that would be fine but imagine listening to music in just one ear? And it's designed to hear voices and not music so I imagine it would just be a disaster, and there's still the adaptor which apparantly takes up a lot of system resources.

He never mentions music, and it doesnt take up "system resources". I 'play' Halo 2 sometimes just to talk to mates over XBL when my Xbox isnt on and I have used it on Skype before and its fine.

About the music thing, I guess it depends if he's using speakers as well.

I want to get setup using the wireless adaptor and Halo 2 so I can talk to people over Xbox Live but they're releasing a standalone application for Vista which is identical to the newly updated 'Games for Windows - Live' interface in coming weeks :)

Would recommend you don't get a USB headset as you are effectively negating all the benefits of your soundcard/onboard sound.

Sometimes though if you have intergrated sound card, the USB sound card is actually much better than the one you currently have.

Just to clear it all up;
I can't use minijack headsets because I use Mac and they use different mic ports. Anyone else with a Mac mini will tell you the same (except for iMac which is different for some reason).

I've got speakers for music (in my sig), this headset is just for Skype and gaming.

Apparently, the on board sound card on Mac mini's isn't amazing.

I'm not having a Wireless Xbox Headset cause it's only got one earpiece.

I've added the Logitech ClearChat Comfort headset onto my Christmas list.
I'll let you know after if it's any good.
