I've been looking around the post your desktop thread and it seems some people already have windows 7 on there vista machine.

Ive heard about VMware which i think is where you can use a different Os, But im not entirely sure.

I'm just wondering if anyone on here can make a TUT on how to make your Vista 32bit look & operate like windows 7.

I think a few people on here might want to know how to do it so it will be alot of help.

Thanks for any ideas on how i may do it

We all have it fully installed as a seperate OS.

It's not a theme.. it's the actual OS

Would there be anyway to install the OS onto my pc. Without like burning it to a disk and installing it? My cd drivers not working.

Thanks

You could download and install VirtualBox (free), VMWare or VirtualPC (free)

Yeah, you can start the setup within your current os, then half way through your computer will restart and carry on from the files it has copyed to the partition where you are going to install Windows 7.

Search http://thepiratebay.com for windows 7 and download the 32bit version if you want it.

EDIT: This is how to do it if you didn't understand what I said above ;)

1. Go to http://utorrent.com and install uTorrent.
2. Go to http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4475431/Microsoft.Windows.7.32Bit.Build.6801.DVD-WinBeta and download the torrent hash file,
3. Open the .torrent file with uTorrent
4. Let it download (If your isp is tiscali wait a few months for it to finish downloading)
5. Download winrar (http://winrar.com)
6. Once the torrent is finished open the folder where you downloaded it to in winrar
7. Select the .r53 and the .r58 file and click "Repair" (they are slightly damaged)
6. Open the file called win7-32bitPDC.rar and extract the iso
7. Download magiciso (http://magiciso.com)
8. Extract the iso to your desktop
9. Open the folder where you extracted them to and run the exe file

Your computer will restart a few times while its installing. :)

Start by downloading and installing this (http://download.bittorrent.com/dl/BitTorrent-6.1.2a.exe)

then go to http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4475431/Microsoft.Windows.7.32Bit.Build.6801.DVD-WinBeta and click "Download torrent" when you get the box saying "open with" click Bit torrent.

Then post back here when it is downloaded.
